This woman steps on stage and begins to tell a story about how her dream of becoming a singer has been crushed over and over again in her life. Then halfway into her audition on "The X Factor," Simon Cowell stops her and everyone is on the edge of their seat. What happens next is a dream come true.
On this particular day, Stephanie McCourt was determined to make every dream of hers come true in front of the whole world. She doesn't have much confidence in her talent once she starts, acting very shaky and a bit scared to be on stage. About a minute into the audition, she is interrupted by Simon. No one is prepared for what happens next … and it actually works out for the best.
Simon boosted her confidence and she knew she was under more pressure than ever at this point. Stephanie sings "Summertime" and it was amazing! She was like a shining star on stage!
