'Thor 3: Ragnarok' rumors: Lady Thor to inherit hammer after Thor's death?
"Thor 3: Ragnarok" is set to air two years from now, but there are already rumors spreading about how a Lady Thor will inherit Thor's hammer after he dies fighting villains.
There are reports saying Thor will die in his battle with Ragnarok, Loki, or Thanos. Lady Sif or Jane Foster will then inherit the Mjolnir and become Lady Thor, according to The Bitbag.
The God of Thunder, played by Chris Hemsworth, might have a clash with Thor's clone Ragnarok. The events that happened in "Captain America: Civil War" may also be the prelude to Thor 3, as Ragnarok's actions have affected the direction of the war. In the end, Hercules will defeat Ragnarok, but the latter will continue to fight Thor after a Hank Pym Skrull imposter reactivates him, the report details.

A new villain will possibly enter the scene in the form of fire demon Surtur, who will unsuccessfully fight Odin, Youth Health Mag reports. Loki will later be able to locate the place where Mjolnir was created and will use it to crafts his own weapons against Thor. Loki's actions will lead to an apocalypse, which will lay waste both Asgard and Mjolnir.
The rumors about Thor 3 are derived from Thor's hallucination in "Avenger: Age of Ultron" in which he is fighting Loki, who is posing as his father.
Aside from that, Thanos may appear in the movie to take hold of the space stone in the tesseract. His role in Thor 3 will help set up the Infinity war. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige explained the movie's importance to the MCU Phase 3.
"Thor is a very important movie for us in Phase 3. We plan on taking Thor to another level," The Bitbag quotes Feige. "It picks up where we leave Thor in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' and impacts everything that comes after."
Meanwhile, a Lady Thor — in the form of either Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) or Lady Sif (Jamie Alexander) — may become the next master of Mjolnir and become Lady Thor after the demise of the God of Thunder. Alexander has revealed that she will play an important role in the movie, the report relays.
Thor 3: Ragnarok will premiere in theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
