You Are Unworthy; Man Pulls Off Thor's Hammer Trick From 'Age of Ultron'
Anyone who saw the summer blockbuster "Avengers: Age of Ultron" remembers the trick that Thor played on his friends.
As they near the end of a party, Thor challenges his friends to pick up his signature hammer, claiming that only those "worthy" are able to wield it.
Inspired by the movie, one California man created his own Thor hammer — also known by its ridiculously hard to pronounce real name, Mjolnir.
Using the power of magnets and the technology of fingerprint recognition, the prankster witnesses which unsuspecting souls attempt to lift the hammer, and thus be worthy — or not.
Participants ranged in size, shape, and age, yet none seemed worthy, save the clever inventor, who at times explained the trick to his bewildered victims.
Posted Sunday on YouTube, as of Friday morning the video has garnered nearly 8.5 million views and more than 25,000 likes.
Are YOU worthy? Or do you simply have the right fingerprints? Either way, enjoy this bridge between comic book fantasy, movies and real life.
