'Thor: Ragnarok' Movie News: Chris Hemsworth Posts His Own Version of the Asgardian God of Thunder's Costume
Is Chris Hemsworth not only the lead actor in the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok" movie but also a part of the film's wardrobe and design department? If the latest Twitter post of the actor is to be the basis, some may be fooled into thinking that Hemsworth is. However, for many, the post is nothing more than the actor poking fun on his design skills.
In the said Twitter post, Hemsworth uploaded a photo of his supposed visual design skills, showing the Marvel superhero that he plays in a blonde electrified hair and half naked while raising his iconic hammer absorbing the energies from above. The actor captioned the post with the words "redesigned Thor's look" and followed it with a hashtag "awesome."
Comicbook Movie opined that Hemsworth version of the costume of his character is, without question, far more revealing than those that he has worn in the movies, but it is also close to what Thor looked like at one time in one of his comic book versions.
As of this writing, it remains unknown as to how the Asgardian god and superhero will look in his third standalone movie feature via "Thor: Ragnarok." After all, it seems that the superhero doesn't stay to one look in the movies. In the first standalone film feature of the character, he looked more armored while he looked bulkier in his appearance in "Avengers" with his sleeveless costume.
Meanwhile, "Thor: Ragnarok" is taking shape more and more with the reveal of its additional cast members. Marvel has recently announced that Cate Blanchett is joining the movie, too, as Hela, the first-ever female supervillain in all the installments of "Thor" movies. Apart from Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, and Karl Urban have been ushered into the movie as Valkyrie, Grandmaster, and Skurge, respectively. Mark Ruffalo is also lending his presence to the movie as he reprises his "Avengers" Hulk character.
"Thor: Ragnarok" is slated for Nov. 3, 2017 showing.
