Thousands Come to Christ at Reno Festival with Luis Palau

Two days of faith and fun wrapped Saturday night at Reno's Rancho San Rafael Park as Reno Festival with Luis Palau came to a loud and joyous close. Officials estimated the Friday and Saturday attendance at over 30,000.

The free, family-friendly festival brought to Northern Nevada some of Christian music's most honored artists (Point of Grace, TobyMac, The Katinas), a VeggieTales children's area, and a massive custom-built skate park featuring world-class extreme sports athletes.

World evangelist and author Luis Palau shared a Gospel message both days, with a youth focus on Friday and a biblical message targeted at families on Saturday. Actor Stephen Baldwin, who recently directed an action sports DVD for the Palau ministry, shared his story of coming to faith in Christ.
