Tiger Woods Banned Elin Nordegren From Smiling, New Book Claims

Tiger Woods has been described as a controlling bully in his marriage to ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, by his former swing coach, who is revealing explosive details about the renowned Golfer in a new book.

Hank Haney claims that Nordegren, 32, was banned from smiling on the golf course if Woods won a tournament because it bruised his ego as he felt as though he was always "supposed to win," according to Mail Online.

In Haney's book entitled, "The Big Miss," Woods is depicted as a self absorbed lover of pornography who had little respect for Nordegren.

Haney claims that in one incident Nordegren was eager to celebrate Woods' victory at Torrey Pines suggesting that she throw a party in his honor.

The mother of two was familiar with throwing celebratory parties from when she had worked for Woods' fellow golfer, Jesper Parnevik, but was quickly shut down by her husband.

"E, that's not what we do. I'm not Jesper. We're supposed to win!" Woods blasted.

Nordegren, who was married to Woods for six years was reportedly treated very poorly, and Haney claims that the professional golfer would dine at exclusive restaurants with his wife expecting her to follow him like a puppy dog when he was finished with his meal.

Woods, who Haney describes as a very quick eater, would disregard whether or not Nordegren had finished her meal and simply up and leave when he wanted, expecting her to immediately follow behind him.

Although Nordegren was unhappy in her marriage to Woods, she reportedly began to suppress her feelings and "keep her emotions under wraps," according to the book.

"As life became more complicated, I thought Elin changed...She and Tiger developed a calm, almost cool relationship in front of other people, and conversations with them tended to be awkward and strained," Haney writes in the book.

"I never saw them argue, but they weren't openly affectionate either," he added suggesting that their marital woes became more obvious.

Nordegren had two children with Woods, Sam Alexis and Charlie Axel, and the former model reportedly received around $100 million in 2010, which some critics say is one of the largest divorce settlements in history.
