Tim Kang and Marisol Nichols will guest star in 'Criminal Minds' season 11 episode 2
Fans will see a number of guest stars this upcoming season of the "Criminal Minds," due to the recent departure of Jennifer Love Hewitt (Kate Callahan) from the show, and temporary leave of absence of A.J. Cook (Jennifer Jareau), who's on maternity leave.
To balance the male and female characters, CBS has cast Aisha Tyler to become the newest member of the BAU team. Tyler is said to play Dr. Tara Lewis, and according to Erica Messer, the show's executive producer, she will have a reccurring role as a forensic psychologist.
According to a spoiler from the Latino Post, fans will also see Tim Kang ("The Mentalist") and Marisol Nichols ("Teen Wolf") guest star this season. Both actors will be featured in the second episode of "Criminal Minds" season 11 that will air this Oct. 7. Episode 2, which is entitled "The Witness," will feature Nichols as an FBI agent that will help the Behavioral Analysis Unit in preventing a major attack on Los Angeles California. On the other hand, Kang will be seen as a medical supply worker on the same episode.
An official synopsis was posted on Carter Matt, and it reads, "When a Los Angeles bus is attacked with sarin gas, the BAU must act quickly to find the suspect before a larger-scale incident occurs, on 'Criminal Minds'. Guest stars include Marisol Nichols as FBI Agent Natalie Colfax, who assists the BAU with the investigation, and Tim Kang as Charlie Senerak, a medical supply worker."
Recently, a photo of Nichols as Agent Colfax for the upcoming "Criminal Minds" episode was leaked. In the photo, Nichols was seen talking to SSA Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) and Dr. Tara Lewis.
The 11th season of the hit drama series "Criminal Minds" will be back this Wednesday, Sept. 30, on CBS.
