Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tim Tebow has autographed his share of sports paraphernalia throughout the years but one fan recently handed him a Bible to sign during a training camp practice.

Tebow, 28, made numerous media headlines for signing the Bible after Phillyvoice.com sports reporter Matt Mullin tweeted about the incident.

"I'm pretty sure someone got Tim Tebow to sign a Bible," Mullin tweeted on Wednesday. "Don't know how I missed this before … #Eagles."

Tebow has been known to go above and beyond for his fans in the past, and even brought one fan a piece of cake during one of his SEC network segments where he worked as an analyst last year. After Tebow's fan Mckenzie Hoskins waited for over 24 hours to meet him when the SEC network show visited a University of Tennessee football game last year, the Christian athlete gifted her with a piece of cake and an autograph.

While she has opted to freeze the cake instead of eat it, Hoskins let it be known that Tebow's Christian faith made the dessert more meaningful for her.

"Honestly, he could have brought me a piece of grass (or) a cotton ball and I would have reacted the exact same way. It did not matter what he could have brought me," Hoskins told WJHL news last December. "I was so overjoyed that I was meeting my hero, [the] hero of my faith. He stands for everything I believe in: Jesus Christ and the stance he takes for Him."

Now that Tebow has plans to play for the Eagles, a group of Philadelphia pastors who are fans of the team believe the Evangelical Christian athlete has brought divine favor to the organization.

Rev. Bill Golderer of Broad Street Ministries previously spoke to TMZ about how Tebow's faith will impact the Eagles.

"Our legacy [as Eagles fans] has been over 50 years of futility," Golderer told TMZ. "Tebow's close to God, so we wouldn't have to sell our soul to the devil to win a Super Bowl."

Pastor Kent Jacobs from Epic Church in Philadelphia spoke about the impact that Tebow could have in the locker room.

"We love Tim. He's awesome! Everyone needs people to encourage them and he's that type of guy," Jacobs told TMZ. "So he'll help the locker room."

The 28-year-old evangelical Christian football star was recognized for writing Bible Scriptures on his eye blacks and kneeling to pray on the sidelines during games as a quarterback for the Denver Nuggets in 2011.

"I'm pretty sure I'm not the first athlete to get on a knee and pray, that's a form of humbling yourself," Tebow previously explained about his sideline prayer in a Las Vegas Sun report. "I want to humble myself before the Lord and say thank you for this opportunity. Thank you for letting me play the game I love. Whether I'm good or bad, whether I'm the hero or the goat, whether I score four touchdowns or throw four interceptions, that will still be the same person, honoring the Lord."

More than football Tebow has been vocal about wanting to focus on the humanitarian legacy he's working to build with his Tim Tebow foundation.

"I hope that when I'm 90 years old, I've accomplished a legacy that isn't all about me. I hope it's a legacy about the people who our foundation helps," Tebow told People magazine. "We're about to open a hospital in the Philippines. We'll have this hospital where we can help kids who are hurting; healing them physically but encouraging them emotionally and spiritually as well."
