Tim Tebow to Play Football in Italy? Italian Football Team Offers QB $200,000 to Play in Milan
Tim Tebow has a chance to play football again - this time in Italy. The quarterback has been offered a four-month contract by the Italian Federation for American Football League.
The contract offer came via the Milano Seamen and was sent by federation President Leoluca Orlando, who is hoping the football player decides to play in Italy and bring attention to the niche sport in the country.
"The offer has been made to his agent and now we're waiting for a response," Seamen president Marco Mutti told The Associated Press. "We would be more than happy to have him."

The contract is said to be $200,000 for the football season that starts in March and ends with the Italian Super Bowl in July, federation spokesman, James Dewar has said.
There are eight teams in the league, which is divided into two divisions. The Seamen have the league's largest stadium with seating for 8,000 fans.
Tebow has not played professional football since last season and was cut by the Patriots during this year's preseason.
However, that has not stopped Tebow from receiving other offers from leagues around the world. In September, a Russian football team offered Tebow $1 million to play in just two games.
Mikhail Zaltsman, owner of the Moscow Black Storm football team, told Russia Beyond the Headlines that he had wanted to fly Tebow in to play in the American Football Championship of Russia (AFCR) semifinal game against the Moscow Patriots. Tebow ultimately declined the offer.
Tebow was cut by the New England Patriots in August, after the team's last preseason game, and has been searching for a home in the NFL ever since. The 26-year-old Christian quarterback reportedly received an offer from one NFL team to try out for a position other than quarterback, but he declined. Several Arena Football League teams were also reportedly interested in him, though he has not yet committed to any organization.
"I will remain in relentless pursuit of continuing my lifelong dream of being an NFL quarterback," Tebow said in a message on Twitter after being released by the Patriots.
