Tim Tebow's Future Love Interest Must Measure Up to His Mom and Sisters
New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow may be single, but he knows that his future wife will have qualities similar to his mother and sisters.
The 24-year-old devout Christian athlete spoke to Sheknows.com recently and said his mother Pam and sisters Katie and Christy were the women in his life that any future girlfriends would have to measure up against.
"I have been so blessed with having great role models around me, number one my mom and two great sisters," Tebow said. "It's hard for a lot of girls to measure up."
Although Tebow has been linked to various stars like Taylor Swift, Dianna Agron and Katy Perry, he insisted that he has yet to settle down.
"I am not in a relationship," Tebow told Sheknows.com.
Still, the football player knows that he wants "someone that is passionate, that cares, who is a sweet, kind person, and has a great heart and a big heart."
While it doesn't seem like Tebow is in any rush to settle down, some people have already begun to speculate about the women that he should consider.
Ashley Reccord, Christian community manager at the Christian online dating website Christianmingle.com, told Celebuzz that the NFL star should consider taking Olympic track and field athlete Lolo Jones up on her offer for a church date.
"Jones expressed interest in asking Tebow to go to a church with her because she's had such a hard time finding a boyfriend," Reccord said.
Still, the community manager for the dating website said actress, model and musician Aly Michalka could also be a good match for Tebow since she is a devout Christian.
"Michalka has high morals and self-respect and began her career acting and performing music in local church productions," Reccord said of the 23-year-old. "Her Christian values and morals would be a great fit for a relationship with Tim Tebow."
However, Tebow insists that he has been enjoying the single life and gave Sheknows.com some insight about his idea of a good time.
"My favorite thing to do is hang out with close friends and family and laugh," Tebow said. "We play games all the time: Catch Phrase, Taboo, Mafia. We stayed up the other night until like three in the morning just laughing."
