'Time After Time' Season 1 Episode 4: Crucial Secrets Uncovered as H.G. and Jane Travel Back in Time
It may have seemed like H.G. Wells' (Freddie Stroma) trip to the future may have been an unplanned incident, which for the most part it really was, but the recent episode of "Time After Time" has just revealed a handful of other people who have long been on the lookout for his and John Stevenson's (Josh Bowman) arrival.
John, who also happens to be the infamous serial killer, Jack the Ripper, may have posed the biggest threat in the first two episodes of ABC's new sci-fi series. But by the end of the third episode, it seemed that he might have just found his match in a stunning neuropathologist who introduced herself as Brooke (Jennifer Ferrin). Is his life in danger from this mysterious woman, or is a new gruesome duo of psychopathic killers about to be formed?
The next episode titled "Secrets Stolen" will also be sending H.G. and Jane Walker (Genesis Rodriguez) back to the 1980s where they will uncover a shocking revelation that could potentially change Vanessa Ander's (Nicole Ari Parker) life. Does this discovery have something to do with Vanessa's beau, Griffin (Will Chase), and his mysterious and suspicious knowledge of H.G.'s time machine? Or will it have something to do with a more personal issue in Vanessa's life, like her family and lineage?

The official trailer for the upcoming episode also teases John successfully making it to the time machine. But since the machine has been wired to loop back around to Vanessa's basement, will H.G. and his crew finally be able to catch the slippery serial killer?
In addition to John, there are a couple of other threats looming on the horizon for H.G. and his team. There's Chad (William Popp) and his grandmother's order to keep H.G. and the time machine from leaving the present at all cost. Chad may have already been shot, but his brother, Sam (David Carranza), may and could very well pick up after him.
There's also Vanessa's beau, Griffin and the mysterious call he made to an unidentified contact to report his success in gaining access to the time machine. Will Vanessa's trust in her man be broken before it does any real damage to H.G.'s chances of going back home with the criminal John in tow?
"Time After Time" season 1 episode 4 airs on Sunday, March 19 at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
