'Timeless' Season 2 Spoilers: Wyatt to Plan Attack Against Rittenhouse?
Wyatt (Matt Lanter) will be all business in the next installment of "Timeless." Will he and his group succeed in getting back the time machine from Rittenhouse?
The new installment of the NBC series is expected to tackle the escalating tension between Team Time and Carol's (Susanna Thompson) group. The Rittenhouse succeeded in stealing the machine from Flynn (Goran Višnjić) in a brilliant move involving his supposed partner, Emma (Annie Wersching). It was revealed that she was working for Rittenhouse from the start and that she was specifically sent to him to betray him.
Wyatt will not waste time going after the group. Executive producer Shawn Ryan previously hinted that season 2 would be big on the Wyatt storyline.

"I think that will allow us to tell a few stories that we were unable to tell," the EP said during the show's panel at the San Diego Comic-Con. "We definitely have some ideas, nothing sort of set in stone."
"We'll still have spectacle and bigness," he added. "I think we'll just have episodes where we dive deep into the Lucy and Wyatt of it all."
Meanwhile, many of the show's fans are looking forward to the improved relationship between Wyatt and Lucy (Abigail Spencer). It has been teased that he is finally ready to pursue a relationship with her. Wyatt had doubts before in starting a romance with the lady because of the memories of his dead wife. Of course, there is the added complication that Lucy is technically part of the enemy group. As a Preston, she is being geared to be the next head of the family. This means that at one point, they will have to face each other in the battlefield.
On a different note, fans of the series will be treated to an exclusive gag reel (via Entertainment Weekly) from the first season. The DVD set of the installment is currently available from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
NBC has not yet released any update on "Timeless" season 2 but the show is expected to return in 2018.
