iPhone Battery Drain Problem: Tips to Keep Battery Juiced Up

Battery life is one of the most important features of any mobile device. No matter how advanced a phone is or how impressive its specs are, everything is useless if its user constantly finds it dead before the end of the day.

Recently, Apple has made significant strides towards better battery performance with the launch of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. However, some Apple users who actively use their iPhones still find that the battery performance can be annoying sometimes.

To improve this situation, Apple debunked the old myth that leaving some applications open is one of the factors that hurt battery life. According to the company, closing and reopening apps from time to time actually sucks even more battery life than leaving them open.

One of the tricks to extend the iPhone's battery life is by enabling Wi-Fi assist. This feature automatically switches over to the phone's cellular data connection when a Wi-Fi signal goes low, preventing the Wi-Fi connection from draining the battery.

Enabling the Low Power Mode also helps fix iPhone battery issues as it automatically turns off all the power-sucking features of the phone when it hits 20 percent battery power.

iPhone users can also turn off the parallax effect of their phones. The parallax effect refers to the moving icons and notifications in iOS whenever the phone moves. Since an iPhone can function just as effectively without these effects, the user can freely disable them by toggling "Switch to On" under the phone settings' "Reduce Motion" option.

Other features that can be disabled or reduced to improve battery life are the screen brightness, Bluetooth and dynamic backgrounds, which are just wallpapers that make the phone look cool. Turning off 4G also helps, especially if getting a 4G signal isn't a priority at the moment.

Following these tips will help iPhone users keep their iPhone's battery juiced up all day.
