Todd Palin Divorce: Is Rumored Filing Related to Tell-All Book on Sarah Palin?

Todd Palin is reportedly filing for divorce amidst sex scandals that were revealed in the new Sarah Palin tell-all book.

According to The National Enquirer, Todd Palin is “fed-up” with all the scandals that have surrounded their 23-year marriage. The latest scandal being a tell-all-book by Joe McGinniss, an author who moved next door to the Palin family for four months in order conduct research for his book.

The Rouge: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin has been the source of much gossip about Palin's past with stories of the former vice presidential candidate having been intimate with a NBA basketball star Glen Rice, smoking marijuana and dabbling with cocaine.

The author spoke exclusively with Today's Show Savannah Guthrie earlier this month to discuss the authenticity of his book report. During the interview, McGinniss said, "People who know her best like her the least" and defended his accusation of cocaine abuse.

"You talk to someone who snorted it with her and you talk to many of Todd's friends who describe him as having been at the end of the straw frequently in his youth. I'm not saying that Todd and Sarah Palin, today, abuse cocaine or even use it. But, there's no question that they both did, at one point in their lives," McGinniss told the NBC reporter.

McGinniss also describes Palin as "at best she's a hypocrite at worst she's a vindictive hypocrite."

In the Palin's Reality TV show, “Sarah Palin's Alaska,” Sarah commented on McGinniss moving next door and viewers getting a glimpse of the author.

According to the DailyMail, a source also informed the National Enquirer the breaking point occurred when Sarah's brother told a friend, "They don't have a marriage."

In addition to being upset for being the nation's laughing stock, Todd is reportedly upset at the author's public confirmation of the allegations and his brother-in-law's breach of loyalty.

The Palins have not yet confirmed any allegations.
