Tom Brady Mansion, $20 Million Home Comes With Moat
Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen have completed building their $20 million manor near Los Angeles, according to reports this week.
After three years of construction, the 22,000-square-foot mansion is complete with a resort-style pool, solar panels, and interestingly enough, a moat.
A water-filled ditch sits before the mansion's front door, as revealed by the overhead video of the estate posted by The Detroit Free Press.
Furthermore, the property includes a 6-car garage, a custom play area, a wine cellar, weight room, and an elevator, according to Fox 31 Denver.
The New England Patriots quarterback married Bundchen in 2009. The NFL star and his supermodel wife share two children; 2-year-old Benjamin and a newborn daughter, Vivian, in addition to Brady's son John from a previous relationship.
During the NFL season, Brady and his family resides in Boston, Massachusetts. The football star did not make it to the Super Bowl this year, but with the completion of the California home, Brady will be able to watch the championship in comfort.
The power couple is among the highest-earning celebrity couples, and Forbes recently named Bundchen as one of the world's most powerful people.
Internationally recognized, Bundchen is one of the highest-paid models in the world and has appeared in ads for brands such as Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, and Versace, among many others. She also started her own clothing line, C&A.
In a past interview, the supermodel opened up about motherhood brightening her life.
"My son is so cute," the mom was quoted as Daily Mail. "I love hearing the little giggles. When everything is going crazy sometimes you are overwhelmed and it's so much, but when your kid smiles at you, you're like, 'Oh my God, it's all worth it.'"
