'Tom Clancy's The Division' News: More Details About Update 1.8's Resistance Mode Revealed

Players will have to go through three different Arenas in Resistance

Update 1.8 is coming to "Tom Clancy's The Division" in the not too distant future. And when it does, one of the main additions players can expect from it is the game mode known as Resistance.

Four different players will be allowed to participate in each round of this new horde mode, and they will need to work together or else they may find themselves surrounded immediately.

Detailed in a recent post on the game's official website, one of the new things developers are doing with Resistance is to present players with the challenge of going up against a united front of enemy factions. The Cleaners, Rikers, Rioters and members of the LMB have all banded together in this game mode, and what that means is that there will be numerous enemies for players to deal with.

Adding to the challenge of Resistance are the three Arenas "The Division" players will have to successfully navigate if they want to survive.

The first Arena will feature containers and barges, while the second one takes players deep into the sewers. If players are able to go through those, they will then find themselves battling against their enemies on top of an aircraft carrier.

Resistance will also feature elements known as Critical Objectives that have to be completed right away or else players will fail. Wildcard objectives are going to be encountered as well, and these are ones that players will have to keep in mind as they go through the mode.

Along with Resistance, Update 1.8 will also include the new Skirmish PvP mode as well as the West Side Piers map expansion.

Developers are planning to have Update 1.8 available via its Public Test Server on Sept. 26. The update is then expected to be released for all players once the testing is done.

More news about "Tom Clancy's The Division" should be made available soon.
