Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's Daughter Isabella Marries Secretly Without Parents Present
Isabella Cruise, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's adopted daughter, reportedly tied the knot at a secret ceremony with neither her parents present.
News has emerged that A-list actors Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's notoriously camera-shy adopted daughter, 22-year-old, Isabella Cruise, married her boyfriend, Max Parker, in an intimate wedding ceremony where both her parents were reportedly not invited.
The ceremony, which took place nearly three weeks ago on September 18, was held in Central London at the Dorchester Hotel with a reception allegedly paid for by Tom Cruise.
The bride was dressed in a white lacey minidress when she recited her vows to IT consultant Parker in the informal nuptials that were a mix of both Christian and Scientology rituals. Her brother Connor was present, and her Vidal Sassoon Academy friends posed as her bridesmaids.
Isabella Cruise, who works as a hair and make-up technician at London's Vidal Sasson, met her now-husband, Parker, a year ago. Although the groom lives near the Scientology headquarters in West Sussex, he is not believed to be a follower of the religion like his new wife, father-in-law and brother-in-law. However, one of his groomsmen, Fabiano Calcioli, is said to be a Scientologist of popular renown.
Reports have emerged both Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman were involved in the wedding preparations, with Cruise footing the bill and Kidman assisting in the details.
While both parents were not present during the ceremony and the reception, it was speculated the remaining animosity between them was a factor in their dual absence.
Cruise and Kidman were married from 1990 until their divorce in 2011, said to be caused by friction over Cruise's Scientology beliefs. During their marriage, they adopted daughter Isabella in 1992 and son Connor in 1995, both of whom continue to subscribe to the religion and opted to live with their father following the divorce.
