Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen Together?

It appears as though two Marvel characters are dating in real life as a new report claims that Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the "Avengers" and "Thor" films is dating Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlet Witch, the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, who made her debut in the latest Avengers movie, "Age of Ultron."

A source tells Us Weekly that the two have been getting cozy.

An insider said the longtime friends became close while shooting the upcoming Hank Williams biopic, "I Saw the Light," in which they play husband and wife.

"It's casual," the source said, adding that the two won't be rushing into titles anytime soon, but they do make sure to "text when they're apart."

Olsen is the younger sister of twins Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, who made their acting debut at nine months but are now full-fledged fashion designers. In recent years, the twins distanced themselves from the film industry to focus on their new career, and Olsen gently came into the limelight in her brilliant performance in the indie drama "Martha Marcy May Marlene," playing a girl who escapes a dangerous cult. Since then, she has reached a wider audience with last year's Godzilla remake.

Hiddleston and Olsen did not get to film a scene together for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" because the actor's scenes were cut from the film. Director Joss Whedon told MTV that they did shoot some scenes with the actor, but ultimately they had to cut the scenes because "there were now too many voices in the chorus."

Meanwhile, the timing for Hiddleston, 34, couldn't be more perfect, considering that Olsen, 26, called off her engagement to Boyd Holbrook this past January.

"She wants to make a new life for herself," said Us Weekly's source. "She's having fun."
