Too Short Dead? 'Are U Serious?'
Yesterday rumors of rapper Too Short's death were swirling all over the Internet, but he was happy to confirm all was well and he was still alive on Twitter.
"Stop calling my phone. I'm not dead. Been in the lab working on my 19th album #NoTrespassing in stores Feb 2012," he posted on his Twitter as even his Wikipedia page said he died.
The Oakland hip-hop legend also Tweeted, “Are U serious? How did they say I died this time? And when did wikipidia & twitter become reliable news sources???”

Too Short whose real name is Todd Shaw, began rapping when he was 14-years-old by releasing a series of personalized mixtape cassettes he made for friends he called "special requests."
Early on Shaw created his beats using simple drum machines with his friend Freddie B, and slowly developed a cult underground West coast following.
He released his first album in 1983 titled, Don't Stop Rappin'.
After a string of successful releases well into the 90s including collaborations with the Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur, and Scarface, he moved on to making one of his most well received albums, Can't Stay Away (1999).
In the early 2000's Too Short adapted to his new Atlanta, GA music scene switching from his signature funky grooves and bass lines of West coast hip-hop and became more southern with his sound teaming up with artists like Lil Jon. During this time he released four albums in four years.
The rapper has been in a number of films as well most notably "Menace II Society" and an episode of "The Game."
Shaw runs his own record label called Up All Nite Records where he has signed some upcoming rappers.
He also works with an organization called Youth UpRising, a group that works with at-risks youths for over the last couple of years.
