Chris Brown, a songwriter who is a member of Elevation Worship affiliated with Elevation Church in North Carolina, has been nominated for 10 2024 Dove Awards.
Brown, who lives in Charlotte and has two children, was nominated for Songwriter of the Year-Artist.
He received two Song of the Year nominations for his work on the Elevation Worship songs "Praise" and "Trust In God." He also earned songwriting credits for KB and Lecrae's song "Miracles," which was nominated for Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year.

Brown also was credited for Elevation Worship's song "Alaba," which was nominated for Spanish Language Worship Recorded Song of the Year. He was twice nominated for Worship Recorded Song of the Year for "Praise" and "Trust in God."
Brown and Elevation Worship were also nominated for Worship Album of the Year with Can You Imagine? The "Can You Imagine" video was nominated for Long Form Video of the Year.
Brown, who has been a part of Elevation Church since beginning in 2006, grew up attending church where his dad served as a pastor and his mom worked as a singer and musician. He earned a degree in vocal performance at Anderson University in South Carolina.
