Billionaire SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, who publicly endorsed Trump after his first attempted assassination and openly acknowledged that he personally faced potential ruin if he lost, basked in Trump's victory.

Musk, who has been prolific on X after taking it over in 2022, issued multiple posts on the platform as he celebrated with Trump at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday. One of his posts included a picture of him huddling with Trump and UFC CEO Dana White.

"It is morning in America again," he tweeted Wednesday along with an AI-generated image of himself saluting the American flag against the New York City skyline.

Speaking with Tucker Carlson as the returns were still coming in Tuesday, Musk noted he has faced headwinds personally for the stands he has taken, but noted they pale in comparison with what Trump has endured.

"So how much pressure has there been on you to shut down X?" Carlson asked Musk.

"Well, apart from multiple Democrats saying they want to put me in jail, take away all government contracts from my companies, nationalize my companies, deport me as an illegal and have me arrested for apparently being Putin's best friend, nothing besides those things," Musk said.

Musk is slated to play a role in cutting wasteful federal spending in a new Trump administration.
