'Top Chef' Season 13 News: Teams Continue to Compete in This Year's Restaurant Wars
The "Top Chef" Restaurant Wars is what fans are always looking forward to every season, and the battle for the title of Best "Top Chef" restaurant continues in the upcoming episode of the show.
Viewers saw the remaining chefs compete in the very first lunch and dinner service of the Restaurant Wars challenge. According to Entertainment Weekly, the teams were divided, and Karen, Carl, Marjorie, and Isaac named their restaurant Palate, while Phillip, Jeremy, Kwame, and Amar named theirs District LA.
The website said that the judges gave favorable reviews to Palate's lunch service, especially the dish served by Karen. Unfortunately for District LA, the judges didn't like what they served. According to the website, even the worst dish from the other team was better than District LA's best lunch dish. The episode ended with a cliff-hanger, and fans are excited to see what the two restaurants will bring in their dinner services.
Meanwhile, it seems that District LA won't be able to recover from their bad lunch service since the sneak peek released by Bravo TV shows that their diners were complaining about their steaks being a little bit under cooked. Phillip offered to re-fire the steaks, and asked Jeremy to fix the issue of their raw steaks before the judges arrived at their restaurants. "Almost everyone who's had it is looking at me like, 'Why is this raw?'" Phillip told his group mates.
The network also posted an episode synopsis of the next "Top Chef" episode, and it reads, "After a busy day prepping and conducting a full lunch service, the chefs must clean up and do it all over again for dinner. Never before have the chefs taken on such a huge challenge, and the judges are looking at everything from concept and food, to service and consistency, so no one is safe in the most daunting Restaurant War to date."
