Featuring eleven of todays top artists in Christian music, the DC Festival with Luis Palau will fill Washington, D.C.s National Mall with sounds across the wide scale of popular musical genres this weekend.
The family-friendly evangelistic event caters to all people as it showcases rock, pop, gospel, Latino sounds and more for nearly two full days of great music and good news. Festival artists include Steven Curtis Chapman, CeCe Winans, Third Day, Jaci Velasquez, tobyMac, Jump5, Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbett & GA, Yuri and Kutless.
The most important factor is contemporary musicians, said Luis Palau at a press conference Friday.
Much to the attention of teenagers and young adults, artists are expected to project their voices to an estimated 200,000 plus crowd over the two days. Luis Palau and his proclamation of the good news are scheduled to be sandwiched in between the music performances to create a greater incentive for the large crowds of believers and nonbelievers to hear the gospel and remain until the end of the event.
