Though his team is now out of the competiton after getting defeated by Italy, Morata remained one of the top scorers in the competition. A separate Daily Mail report indicated that he performed really well during their games against Turkey and Croatia. He is expected to return to Real Madrid with additional achievements from the tournament.

4. Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal, 2 goals)

The main man from the Portugal squad is targeting to earn a major international title for his team in this year's European tournament. Sky Sports mentioned that Ronaldo expressed his desire to clinch the UEFA Euro 2016 title. "The dream is getting closer and anything can happen now. We're on the right road," he added.
