Toronto Blue Jays vs Texas Rangers Game 2 Preview, Live Stream Info: How to Watch MLB Playoffs Baseball 2015
The Toronto Blue Jays will host the Texas Rangers for Game 2 of their American League Division Series of the MLB Playoffs 2015 on Friday lunchtime. The Rangers managed to claim the win in Game 1 on Thursday and that means it's crunch time for Toronto who dare not lose again today, which would mean leaving Toronto for Texas at 0-2 in the five game series, and facing potentially three consecutive must win games.
Today's big MLB Playoffs game between the Rangers and Blue Jays will commence at 12.30 p.m. ET and will be shown live on the MLB Network. The game can also be watched online through live stream (details below).
Thursday's series opener at the Rogers Centre in Toronto was attended by just under 50,000 fans, and Friday's Game 2 is also expected to be a packed sell out as tens of thousands look to cheer their team on to victory in Game 2 to square things up at 1-1.
Blue Jays' manager John Gibbons has said, "Every game's vital, really. You've got to win three out of five. The thing we've got going for us is I think we've been resilient all year. We've lost some tough games and we don't lose many in a row, normally. So it will be a good bounce-back day for us."
Toronto were expected by most to win Game 1, after posting a regular season home record of 53-28, and also sending out star pitcher David Price to the mound for the opener.
They must respond today or else risk being on the fringe of elimination for the rest of the series. But Gibbons has spoken about the character of his team ahead of the game and has insisted: "One thing I know about us is we always seem to respond."
Whether those words will hold true remains to be seen.
Friday's ALDS Game 2 between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Texas Rangers has a start time of 12.30 p.m. ET and can be watched on the MLB Network. The game can also be watched by live stream by clicking here.
