Toronto Raptors vs Miami Heat: Watch the Live Stream of the 2016 NBA Playoffs Semifinals
Miami hold a 1-0 lead.
Despite playing away from their home floor, the Miami Heat are looking to go up 2-0 in the series against the Toronto Raptors. Their game is on May 5, 2016 at 8:00 PM ET and it will be played at the Air Canada Centre.
Game 2 between the two teams has taken on a different scenario.
Despite finishing the regular season second in the Eastern Conference, the Raptors have not shown their elite level lately and have done just enough to help them reach the stage they are now.
They needed seven games in order to eliminate the Indiana Pacers, and are now facing a deficit against the Heat after a loss at home.
The Raptors need to bounce back quickly and avoid going to Florida down 0-2 in the series.
However, the Raptors still have a great team and if they can put their pieces together they should be fine.
The struggles of DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry have not helped them in their cause and they should now step up in order to lift the team.
On the other hand, the Heat may not have Chris Bosh, but other players are stepping up. Hassan Whiteside has continued his improvement, while Justise Winslow and other role players have also done well in the time that they have in playing.
However, it is the great play of Wade that has helped the Heat. He has definitely stepped up in the playoffs and he is a big reason why they are in the second round.
In the first game between the two, Wade had 24 points, six rebounds and four assists in the win, while Jonas Valanciunas had 24 points and 14 rebounds for the Raptors.
For Miami, taking the second game is important as they will have a chance to close out the series at home and have all the momentum.
As for Toronto, they need this win in order to stay alive.
