Total Living Network Added To Sky Angel's Satellite Television Lineup

In a May 28, 2005 article, "Total Living Network Added To Sky Angel's Satellite Television Lineup," the Christian Post overlooked a typo in paragraph seven. "Sky Angel is now added to that list" should be the correct statement. Previously, the word "not" was substituted for "now." The Christian Post apologizes for any inconveniences incurred by the inaccuracy.

Total Living Network will now air on Sky Angel's nationwide direct-home Christian satellite television on Sky Angel's channel 9714.

The Total Living Network believes in using multimedia such as broadcasting, cable casting, digital television, satellite delivery, and the Internet to carry their family and ministry programs.

"There are major changes and advancements occurring in electronic communications technology. Christian television will either adapt and utilize this technology, or become obsolete. We have chosen to adapt now rather than later," reads a quote from the TLN website.

Sky Angel and Total Living Network are teaming up to provide Christian programming by satellite cable for those interested.

TLN believes that there needs to be revitalization in Christian television, which has gone on for 30 years without any changes.

"We have the same fundamental beliefs and values as any Christian TV station, but we have a whole new attitude. We are here to be a mentor..., a caretaker..., a listener..., a friend... We want to provide answers to questions about Christianity, God, the meaning of life & the struggles of day to day life."

TLN is carried on cable systems AT&T, which includes the former TCI, Multimedia, Time Warner, and Jones Intercable. Sky Angel is now added to that list.

Programs include Ten Keys for Unlocking the Bible, Newsmakers, where Christian experts debate issues of interest to churches and The Da Vinci Code Deception.

Specifically looking to provide relevant programming for the spiritually seeking, TLN reiterates the need for a greater usage of Internet technology and change in Christian television, in general.

"There is a need for new program concepts. Original ideas," according to TLN's web statement.
