Like many elite teams this season, the Spurs are suffering from inconsistent performances as they see themselves stuck in mid-table battles. They have not lost in their last five matches but have only managed to win two of those games.
However, the silver lining is that they have won those games back-to-back and are looking to make it three straight against Manchester.
Wins over Sunderland and Crystal Palace should help boost their confidence as they prepare to welcome City.
The standings say that the Spurs have a tough battle against them as their last four meetings have all resulted in wins for Manchester, including 4-1, 5-1 and 6-0 results all in the Premier League.
Spurs' biggest chance is to use their momentum against City's tough line-up and hope that they can convert on the chances that are given to them.
