'Transformers 5' movie release date, spoilers, news update: Dual storyline to be featured, new cast robots added
The science fiction action movie "Transformers" is taking another shot at the big screen with their fifth installment of the franchise. And even though its arrival to the cinemas is still far away, fans are already scouting some inside scoops regarding the movie.
The latest one to hit the news is about "Transformers 5" doing storylines that will feature two plots. In a previous report, Mark Ryan, the voice actor for "Jetfire" and "Lockdown," divulged some details while he was at the UK-based "Wings and Wheels Convention." He said that the movie will take viewers on an adventure with Mark Wahlberg's character, Cade Yeager, who is said to team up with the Autobots and Dinobots to rescue the planet Earth from dangerous attacks.
On the other hand, the possible second plot is rumored to be about the Transformers themselves. According to Cinema Blend, the second plot may highlight the shape-shifting robots more, their underlying folklore, as well as their struggle throughout the years. This will possibly make the movie swerve more towards the battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons and less on the human element of the story.
Screen Crush also took note of Optimus Prime's story. The last time fans checked in the "Transformers: Age of Extinction", the Autobot leader traveled off into space to find the creators of the alien race. The source stated that Optimus Prime's journey may lead him to find the Quintessons and possibly face off with Unicron, the god-like being who formed both the Autobots and the Decepticons. With this storyline, this can set up the future of the franchise.
In other news, The Gospel Herald reported that the upcoming sequel will bring new robot faces. The list includes Ultra Magnus, Cyclonus, Override, Red Alert, Scourge and Blitzwing. Ultra Magnus, also a robot leader, will fight alongside Optimus Prime and others to defeat the evil Decepticons.
Fans will see more of the Autobots again soon in "Transformers 5," which is rumored to hit cinemas in 2017.
