'Transformers 5' News, Cast, Spoilers: Team of Writers On Board to Improve Story Line

Despite being already a decade-long franchise, each and every "Transformers" movie continuously gets mixed reviews. While many are drawn mainly for the extreme CGI the robotics film offers, critics still find fault in its story line and dialogues. Although this has proven to not affect ticket sales of the franchise, the studio seems to have finally stepped up to do something about it.

According to Crossmap, Steven J. Davis, Hasbro chief content officer, has confirmed that an incredible lineup of writers have already been taken on board to get rid of the animosity fans feel about that certain part of the movie. Hasbro stated, "Nine of some of the most creative writers I have ever worked with, shepherded by Akiva Goldsman, who many of you may know won an Academy Award for A Beautiful Mind and written a bunch of great movies. And they plotted out the next 10 years of Transformers. Similarly, we are doing the same in television and in digital."

The reported list of writers include "Ant-Man" writers Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, "Iron Man" scribe Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, and "The Blacklist" writers Geneva Roberston-Dworet and Christina Hodson. Other writers signed on as well are Robert Kirkman ("The Walking Dead"), Jeff Pinkner ("Amazing Spider-Man 2"), Zak Penn ("X-Men: The Last Stand"), Ken Nolan ("Black Hawk Down"), Steven DeKnight ("Daredevil"), and Lindsey Beer. The impressive team is apparently not only going to pen the upcoming fifth "Transformers" movie but also the sixth, seventh, and eight as well, which are "on their way."

Recently, a rumor about Unicron feature started to go around. Bumblebee voice actor Mark Ryan was reported to have leaked it; however, he had slammed down the rumors by immediately saying, "I'm totally stunned about the current and false online chatter about TF-5 and comments I did not make! I have never given an official interview regarding TF-5, nor would I even utter the words Unicron or Quintessons! I'm not in a position to! This is all online speculation and hype because I was misquoted from a casual chat with a fan at an event in the UK."
