Trayvon Martin Case Supported by Lebron James and Dwyane Wade
The hoodie has become a symbol of injustice as the Trayvon Martin case develops.
The Florida teen was gunned down, by self-appointed neighbor watch captain, George Zimmerman. Martin, 17, was wearing a hoodie when he was killed. Zimmerman has not been arrested because he claimed he shot at Martin in self-defense. Martin was unarmed.
In solidarity and support, the online community has posted pictures of themselves donned in hoodies to social media sites. Those supporting Trayvon online include the Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and the rest of the Miami Heat basketball team.

Around the nation, protests have sprung up calling for justice and the arrest of George Zimmerman. The protests have been dubbed "The Million Hoodie March."
Lebron James tweeted a picture of the whole team, clad in black hoodies with their heads bent in respect. Along with the image, Lebron tweeted several hashtags, "#WeAreTrayvonMartin, #Hoodies, #Stereotypes, #WeWantJustice."
Dwyane Wade changed his Facebook profile picture to a photograph of himself wearing a hoodie, his head bowed and his eyes closed. Along with the photograph, Wade wrote, "#hoodies #stereotype #trayvonmartin"
Wade did not take the picture specifically for this purpose, but rather it was an old picture that fit the situation well. Wade said, "I've never used [the photo] before, really. So that was a great opportunity to use it. Just to get the people to understand what we're in support of."
Wade offered comment about the pictures and Trayvon Martin to the Sun Sentinel. "I'm a father. It's support of the tragic thing that has taken place. No matter what color, race, we're all fathers," he said. Wade is the father of two boys.
"When you think about what [The Martin] family's going through, it hits you hard and it hurts your heart to think about it. Just anything you can do, obviously we can't bring him back, but anything you can do to get behind and support is what we're doing," Wade said.
