Tree63 to Release First Worship Project

The follow up to Tree63’s 2004 album, 'The Answer to the Question,' 'Worship Volume One' features 12 songs with a mixture of live tracks, studio cuts, and fresh arrangements of fan favorites.

South African rock band Tree63 will be releasing their first worship project, Worship Volume One: I Stand For You on Tuesday, Nov. 22 on Inpop Records.

The follow up to Tree63’s 2004 album, The Answer to the Question, which spawned the No. 1 single “Blessed Be Your Name,” Worship Volume One features 12 songs with a mixture of live tracks, studio cuts, and fresh arrangements of fan favorites.

The project reflects Tree63’s recent gravitation towards more worship-oriented music, with the band having recently participated in events such as the final Billy Graham Crusade in New York City.

“Our goal was to capture some of the praise and worship moments we’ve experienced as a band this year in our live shows,” said Tree63 frontman John Ellis in a statement released by Inpop. “This album is different than the usual Tree63 record, but I am excited at the potential. Our vision is to offer something fresh to the jaded, over-exposed and hurting culture. More than anything, we want to be part of God’s plan.”

The first single from Worship Volume One, “I Stand For You,” is currently one of the most added at radio, according to Radio & Records and Christian Radio Weekly.
