'True Blood' Season 7 Spoilers: Anna Camp Says Last Season is 'About Trying to Survive'

"True Blood" returns to HBO this Sunday with a brand new episode entitled "Death Is Not The End."

The hit vampire series is in its seventh and final season, and the stakes are higher than ever for beloved "True Blood" characters. Last week, fans were reintroduced to Anna Camp's character Sarah Newlin. However, fans were not the only ones surprised by Sarah's return.

"It's not what I expected at all," Camp told TVLine of her character's whereabouts – at a guru retreat. "She's definitely on the run' she's got Pam and Eric after her now, and the Yakuza… This season is about Sarah trying to survive."

The surprises do not end there. Camp also revealed that Sarah will be reuniting with her former flame, Jason Stackhouse, during season seven.

"It's not in a way that you would expect," the actress noted of the reunion. "It actually can be pretty funny and pretty said. It's very unexpected the way that I end up interacting with Jason this time around."

Furthermore, Camp noted the death tally on the final season of "True Blood." Many beloved characters have already been killed off, including Tara and most recently, Alcide.

"There're wasting no time getting down to the final core members of the show," the actress explained.

As previously reported, "True Blood" showrunners warned that the final season would see several deaths, including executive producer Brian Buckner.

"It's the final season of 'True Blood,' so gone are the days where we pull our punches," he said, according to Entertainment Weekly. "Heads are gonna roll."

Additionally, Ryan Kwanten, who stars as Jason on "True Blood," warned fans that their favorite characters were going to die this season.

"People are going to be dying," the actor, who portrays Jason Stackhouse, revealed to Access Hollywood. "Some of your favorites are not going to last the season, unfortunately."

"True Blood" airs on HBO Sundays at 9 p.m. EST.
