'Tsuredure Children' Episode 12 Spoilers: Are Chiaki and Kana Done for Good?
Summer is about to begin, and along with it, one love story may finally begin while another could wilt in the heat of a misunderstanding. Will the changing season bring about something good for the young couples of the short-form Japanese anime series, "Tsuredure Children"?
Chizuru may have just gained a new perspective on love, thanks to Ayaka sharing her experience with Goda. Chizuru has always had trouble understanding her own feelings, due in part to a lack of confidence in the possibility of herself falling in love with anyone. Also, she does not seem to believe that anyone, much less Sugawara, would ever fall for a gloomy girl like her.
But after Ayaka shared how she felt when she first fell for her now-boyfriend, Goda, Chizuru realized that this was exactly how she was feeling, too. Could she really be in love? The very thought of it just as quickly led her to deny it.
Will Chizuru finally be able to accept her growing feelings for Sugawara, especially after Ayaka shared a rumor she heard that Sugawara himself may just be in love with Chizuru as well?
The preview for the next episode, aptly titled "Summer Is Coming," teases a continuation to Chizuru and Sugawara's story, and along with it, the possible end of the goofy couple, Chiaki and Kana.
It can be recalled from the previous episode that a drunk Chiaki stole Kana's first kiss. This did not sit very well with Kana, who wanted to share her first kiss with Chiaki as himself and not as someone merely driven by liquid courage.
This week, an unfortunate incident has just put an even bigger challenge to the possibility of the two of them ever getting back together. Will Kana be able to explain how she accidentally dropped her phone in the bath and was thus unable to reply, nor take Chiaki's call properly?
Then again, will Chiaki, who has just sworn to block her off after what would've been his apology call was cut off, even let her talk? The preview for their upcoming segment does not seem promising, but they may also manage to get past this somehow and grow into a much better couple.
"Tsuredure Children" airs on Tuesdays at 11:15 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes are also available for selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
