'Two and a Half Men' Premiere Date, Spoilers: Final Season Starts October 30, 2014 - Charlie Sheen Returning?
"Two and a Half Men" is an American television sitcom which first premiered on the CBS channel on Sept. 22, 2003. On Mar. 13 CBS renewed the series for its twelfth and final season which is scheduled to premiere on Oct. 30 later this year.
Throughout the run of the show, there have been various changes to the cast members following a series of controversial issues. For one, Charlie Sheen's character was killed off at the beginning of the ninth season because of his erratic behavior and scathing comments aimed at the show's creator Chuck Lorre. Ashton Kutcher then replaced Charlie Sheen at the beginning season nine.
Just recently though, it was confirmed by Ryan Seacrest that Charlie Sheen wants back into the series in its final season, and is planning his return. Sheen might have spoken too soon about his plans. During Seacrest's radio show, Sheen said that the first step in his plan to return to the CBS sitcom was to get over what happened in the past saying, "Let's bury the hatchet, but let's also put a bookend on this thing."

"I think I owe it to the fans. I owe it to myself. There's an aspect of closure involved. I think it will be a a nice send-off. I have one idea, they have a couple others," Sheen mentions in the radio show. "We will get together soon and figure it out how that makes sense. But not just to honor what I did, but to honor what they did after I left. I think that's important, too."
The show's producers don't seem to know about Sheen's plan to return though, despite talking about the potential return for months. There were rumors before that Sheen was in talks with the producers already but Warner Bros. quickly denied such rumors.
