'Two Car' Episode 3 Spoilers: Series to Feature More Kneeler Racing Drama as National Tournament Commences
The Miyakejima Tourist Trophy (TT) continues on the Japanese sports anime series, "Two Car." However, the competition may be further complicated by the issues going on between the different pairs participating in Girls' High School Racing Kneeler National Tournament.
First and foremost are the Miyake pair, Yuri Miyata and Megumi Meguro, who might have won their qualifying race, but are obviously at odds with each other, as proven by how they ended up punching each other to sleep at the end of the race.
As it was, the two girls have fallen in love with the man who got them into kneeler racing in the first place. And although this man has since left Miyake to pursue his own dream after coaching Yuri and Megumi to the best of his abilities, this yet-to-be-named Coach continues to drive the two girls toward victory in the National Tournament.
The catch, though, is that outside of the race, the two girls are clearly still not in good terms and would really rather not have anything to do with each other, if they could help it. But they each are one part of a two-man race team and are, therefore, forced to look past their differences, if only for as long as they could bring their motor vehicle to the finish line.
But these two girls will need to pull their wits together and start working on their teamwork, both within and outside the race soon. The participants in the National Tournament have begun arriving at Miyakejima, and although each pair does have their own issues to sort through, they seem to have a much better handle on their partnership than Yuri and Megumi.
Will the two girls be able to bond and learn to trust each other again before the race officially goes underway? Or will they continue to race at their current state and find out, too late, the consequences of racing as rivals rather than teammates?
"Two Car" airs on Saturdays at midnight JST on AT-X and on Mondays at late night 12:30 a.m. JST on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS Fuji. Episodes will also be simulcast in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
