Tyler Perry Speaks Up After Bobbi Kristina Brown's Death; Says He's Helping With Funeral
Tyler Perry is publicly reacting to the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of his close friend, the late singer Whitney Houston.
Brown died at the age of 22 on Sunday, six months after being found unconscious in the bathtub of the Georgia home she shared with her boyfriend Nick Gordon. The daughter of Houston and singer Bobby Brown was moved to hospice care last June where 45-year-old film mogul Perry visited her bedside.
Perry, a close family friend, took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Brown's death.

"I'm a writer with no words ... Bobbi Kris," the playwright tweeted.
The tweet comes after news that Perry is helping plan the details of Bobbi Kristina's funeral, according to "Entertainment Tonight."
"He has told the families that he will help 'take care of everything,'" a source reportedly told 'ET.'" ... Including offering use of his private jet to transport Bobbi Kristina's body from Atlanta, where a funeral service is planned for Saturday, to New Jersey, where she will be buried alongside Houston."
Bobbi Kristina's death came one week after Perry took to Facebook to defend the Houston and Brown families amid rumors that were running rampant in the media.
"This morning I woke up with Whitney on my mind. I couldn't help but think about all that she must have dreamed for her child," Perry wrote. "I know this was not her dream. … And as difficult as this time is for the people who love both Whitney and Krissi, what makes it more egregious is the blatant disrespect, lies, and ignorance that are rapidly printed in this awful time.
"For some reason, it has become human nature in our society to look for, seek out, and celebrate darkness, glory in tragedy, and enjoy reading and reporting it. It makes me sad to know that everybody wants to be the first to report something awful," Perry's Facebook post reads. "So much so, that they find it OK to speak death onto those who are still alive. May I ask you all to please show some decency and respect?"
While Perry asked people to pray for Bobbi Kristina and her family until they officially announced her death, that day came on Sunday.
"She is finally at peace in the arms of God," Bobbi Kristina's family said in a statement. "We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."
