Tyra Banks Baby Update: Baby York Makes Instagram Debut

Tyra Banks and Erik Asla recently welcomed their newborn child York and the baby boy recently made his debut on Instagram.

On Valentine's Day, Tyra Banks skipped the romantic online posts and instead surprised her fans by posting a photo of his newborn son with her Norwegian photographer boyfriend Erik Asla. In the photo, baby York is seen turned to one side while he is wrapped in a cloth and his hand is on his mother's chest, the Christian Examiner reports.

"This is the happiest Valentine's day of my life. York, Daddy @erikasla and I send you so much love," Bank's photo caption says.

This is the first time that Banks has posted a photo of their son online. A few weeks ago, she only posted a photo of a baby hat and accompanied it with a caption signifying the arrival of their baby. The supermodel called York a "miracle baby boy" and the "best present" that they have been working and praying hard for. She also revealed that York got his father's mouth and chin, while his fingers and eyes are from his mother, The Huffington Post relays.

In addition, Banks thanked the surrogate mother who carried their child for nine months. She also gave a shout-out to individuals struggling to have a child. She then thanked singer Miley Cyrus for sending giant balloons that spelled out York's name. Banks said they really liked the balloons that they displayed them on their stairway.

Earlier, people wondered how Banks concealed her pregnancy since she was not seen with any signs of a bulging tummy on TV in the past few months. The supermodel revealed last year on "FABlife" that they have been struggling to conceive and had opted to have a child via a surrogate mother.

In the past years, Tyra Banks has openly expressed her desire to have a baby and she shared that she had been undergoing IVF treatments. She said having no kids was one thing that she was not happy about when she turned 40.
