UCLA Student Exposes Planned Parenthood Cover-Up on 'O'Reilly Factor'
Lila Rose, an 18-year-old student from UCLA who recorded herself receiving controversial advice from a Planned Parenthood Los Angeles (PPLA), was on the "O'Reilly Factor" news program Thursday night.
While on the show, Rose explained the problems within Planned Parenthood – the leading provider of surgical abortion – and spoke about how they had threatened to file a lawsuit against her covert video which was posted on YouTube.
"Lila Rose is a hero for her courage in exposing the child sex protection racket that so common today at our nation's abortion clinics," said Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, in a statement. "Secrecy always works to the benefit of the rapists and abortionists, while the truth works to protect the innocent. We hope her exposé will help shut down the Planned Parenthood sex centers that give cover for predators at the expense of the safety and well-being of little girls."
Rose, who is the founder of a school pro-life newspaper called The Advocate, secretly taped herself going into the abortion clinic, while she acted as a pregnant 15-year-old. She brought with her a "23-year-old boyfriend" and was told by PPLA staff to lie about her age to protect her "boyfriend" from statutory rape charges.
"If you're 15, we have to report it. If you're not, if you're older than that, then we don't need to," explained the employee in the recording. "You could say 16 … well, just figure out a birth date that works. And I don't know anything."
After she uploaded the video onto the popular video sharing website YouTube, she was contacted by PPLA administration to remove the feed or she would receive a lawsuit since the action was deemed illegal.
Although she is not sure whether or not her actions were unlawful or not, her legal advisor from the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) told her it was best to comply with PPLA for now. She plans on removing the video now.
"They may have the tapes," explained Rose in the Free Republic, "but it is hard to silence the truth."
In addition to Rose, other pro-lifers have also made attempts to expose the cover-ups within Planned Parenthood. Life Dynamics, a Texas-based non-profit organization, hired an actress to make approximately 800 phone calls to abortion facilities across several states, acting as a 13-year-old girl. (Watch the video) The caller described herself as a victim of sexual assault, but 91 percent of the locations that admitted the action was a crime agreed to conceal it.
Besides the PPLA incident, Rose has made undercover moves to two UCLA student health clinics and wrote two underground newsletters about abortion employees who have advised students on how to circumvent the law.
The California college student describes herself as a Christian, but does not object abortion only because of her faith. She believes that the right to life is everyone's fundamental right.
