Ultimate Warrior's Death: 'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase Wishes They 'Buried the Hatchet' at WWE Hall of Fame
WWE legend Ted DiBiase regrets not burying the hatchet with former colleague the Ultimate Warrior before his death.
Both grapplers were in attendance at this year's WWE Hall of Fame event that took place before Wrestlemania 30. The company inducted Warrior into the Hall of Fame after years of separation. However, the reconciliation was bittersweet as the former champion died of a heart attack just two days later.
DiBiase, who wrestled as the Million Dollar Man, expressed his disdain for working together with the Warrior in their prime at the WWE. However, in a recent interview with The Christian Post, he admitted that he wishes he used this year's ceremony to make amends.

"My only regret is that I didn't get the opportunity to personally bury the hatchet with him," said DiBiase. "We had our differences and even during his induction speech, I was one of the guys he threw a jab at."
His problems with Warrior that stemmed from his "lack of respect" for the wrestling business back in the '80s and early '90s were common with other wrestlers throughout the industry. The issues led to WWE finally releasing a DVD titled "The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior" that documented his rocky relationship with the company that made him a superstar. WWE seemed to change their mind about Warrior by finally inducting him into the Hall of Fame this year.
"The WWE chose to induct him into the Hall of Fame," DiBiase said. "The words that come to mind [with this situation] are Jesus': he who is without sin cast the first stone. Does everybody need to be given the opportunity for a second chance? Absolutely."
DiBiase admits that he felt tempted to go back stage and confront Warrior regarding the jab he threw his way during his acceptance speech, but he never followed through.
"I said no, this is his night, this is his special moment," he said. "I had no idea how that would be received. This is just not the place and the time to do it. They'll be another opportunity. Unfortunately there wasn't. I regret that."
