'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' News: Netflix Comedy Series Returns April 15

There is good news for the fans of the Netflix series "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" as the show is bound to return for its season two run on the streaming network on April 15.

"Season two of the Emmy-nominated series picks up shortly after season 1 and finds Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) looking for a new job, Titus (Tituss Burgess) forced to face his past with the appearance of his ex-wife and Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski) rediscovering her roots, while landlady Lillian (Carol Kane) finds a surprising romance," goes the synopsis of the show for its season two run.

"Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" is an American sitcom created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. This Netflix comedy series top-billed by Kemper was originally created for NBC for its spring 2015 offering. However, it was eventually sold to Netflix. According to reports, the show has already been renewed for its third season run, thanks to its critical success.

Both Kemper and Burgess won the plum acting awards for their respective roles in the Netflix series in the 2015 Webby Awards.
