'UQ Holder!' Episode 2 Spoilers: Touta Konoe's Adventures as an Immortal Monster Begins
Touta Konoe, like any other boy his age, has lofty dreams of one day living town and having great adventures in other places. But when his life is suddenly turned on its head, he is forced to dish his childish dreams for a life-changing decision on the Japanese anime series, "UQ Holder!"
Touta and his friends spend most of their school days trying to find ways to defeat Yukihime because it was only by defeating her would they be allowed to leave town and go to the capital to climb the Orbital Elevator, aka the Pillar of Heaven.
However, an enemy who has spent the past six months disguised as a teacher named Tachibana put both his and his foster mother Yukihime's lives in peril, thus forcing Touta to make the choice of being reborn as the immortal monster that Yukihime, who is really the vampire Evangeline A.K. McDowell, has turned him into two years ago.

The two of them later decided to leave town now that Yukihime's location has been exposed and more bounty hunters are sure to come after her for the 600 million price on her head. They are heading towards the capital city, right where the Orbital Elevator is. What new challenges and adventures await the two of them on the way? And will Touta ever learn the true identity of the ghostly apparition that keeps appearing before him, telling him to meet at the top of the Orbital Elevator?
Fans are enthused to see Eva, a vampire from the first "Negima" series, taking on the more adult-like role of a foster mother to Touta, who lost his parents more than two years ago.
The series is based on the manga of the same title created by Ken Akamatsu. It is set in the same universe as "Negima! Magister Negi Magi."
