'Urahara' Episode 4 Spoilers: What New Challenges Await Kotoko and Her Friends as They Reopen Park?
The Scoopers are not done with Harajuku yet, but Rito, Mari, and Kotoko are still just as determined to defend their turf on the Japanese fantasy anime series, "Urahara."
Just because Harajuku is now inside a bubble, doesn't mean they're safe from the alien invaders known as Scoopers. These aliens have come to Earth in a bid to steal culture in order to subsequently build their own civilization with it.
And the only thing that's standing between them and success is the teamwork of three friends, Rito, Mari, and Kotoko, under the guidance of a talking shrimp tempura and a mysterious girl named Misa. The girls will stop at nothing to defend their beloved Harajuku. But it seems that the Scoopers are only going to become even more determined, and thus, more dangerous as the series progresses.
The previous episode had one Scooper, who had, for some reason, managed to slip through the protective bubble, try to steal Rito's unfinished drawing on a wall. Just because Harajuku has been wrapped in a bubble, did not mean that the girls' creativity will stop. And this may perhaps be the very thing that the Scoopers are banking on.
They were able to ward off the Scooper in the end, but more complications are still afoot as the girls finally reopen their shop, Park.
Moreover, Kotoko has been seeing purple patches appearing on her friends' skin, and then disappearing just as quickly. She remains unaware that the same thing has been happening to her, and she seemed to think that it's just her eyes playing tricks on her.
Will she be able to tell her friends and Misa what she's been seeing before it causes even more serious consequences for the three of them? What could these purple patches entail?
"Urahara" streams online on Wednesdays via AbemaTV. It also airs on Thursdays at 10 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes will also be simulcast in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
