Usain Bolt May 5 Competition: First Race Before 2012 Olympics
Olympic champion Usain Bolt has promised a show for his many fans during the Jamaica International Invitational, which will take place in London.
Bolt will compete in the 100, 200 and 4 × 100 meter relay in London this Summer for the 2012 Olympic games. The events are the same ones in which Bolt competed during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, where Bolt took home three gold medals.
"I've been waiting for this summer for four years so I'm going to enjoy every moment and put on a show for everybody around the world," Bolt stated. "The Olympic Games is going to be a massive thing for me and I'm really looking forward to it."

Despite being far from home, Bolt is also confident that he will have home support in London. In hopes of a big fan base, Bolt has promised to put on a show.
"It is going to be bigger for me than for most people because there are a lot of Jamaican people living in London. I know they will be going crazy so I have to put on a show."
Bolt also commented on his website that it was an honor to run for his fans.
"It is always a great privilege to run in front of my home fans," the double world record-holder stated.
IAAF world challenge-level meeting is Bolt's first before the Summer Olympics.
"This will be my first big meet of 2012 as I prepare to defend my titles in the Olympic Games in London in August," Bolt confirmed.
Bolt has also signed on for the Golden Spike in Ostrava, Golden Gala in Rome and Bislett Games in Oslo. Bolt is one of the seven athletes entered into the ninth edition of the race, according to event organizer Donald Quarrie.
