Vanilla Ice Entertained Watching Justin Bieber 'Self Destruct'
Justin Bieber's may be criticized by some for his behavior, but "Ice Ice Baby" rapper Vanilla Ice insists the 19-year-old singer's public scrutiny is entertaining.
The 45-year-old rapper born Rob Van Winkle recently spoke up about Bieber's alleged marijuana smoking, aggressive behavior and decision to urinate in public places. Vanilla Ice recently said he believed the teen pop star is self-destructing.
'I'm sure he's not liking it from the inside, though watching is very entertaining," Van Winkle said recently, according to Metro U.K. "Who doesn't like to see a celebrity self-destruct or pee on people, or whatever he's doing?"
The 1990s rapper compared Bieber's career to both his and a snow globe.
"'It gets shaken up and when it settles, he's gonna try and find his purpose," he said, according to Metro. "People don't take him seriously . . . I just don't want to see him [expletive] that up, to where people think he's Vanilla Ice."
Miley Cyrus, the 20-year-old singer, covered Rolling Stone magazine recently where she spoke serving as a mentor to Bieber amid public scrutiny.
"I'm not much older than him, so I never want it to feel like I'm mentoring him. But I do mentor him in a way," Cyrus told the publication. "Because I've been doing this (expletive) for a long time, and I already transitioned, and I don't think he's quite done it yet. He's trying really hard."
However, Cyrus also spoke about warning the 19-year-old Canadian crooner about certain pitfalls that could be caused by his behavior.
"People don't take him seriously, but he really can play the drums, he really can play guitar, he really can sing. I just don't want to see him f-ck that up, to where people think he's Vanilla Ice," Cyrus told Rolling Stone. "I tell him that. Like, 'You don't want to become a joke. When you go out, don't start (expletive). Don't come in shirtless.'"
