Verizon Ellipsis 10 Launched, Specs Include 10-Inch Display, 1 GB of RAM, 4G LTE
The rumored Verizon Ellipsis 10 has finally been launched. According to Phone Arena, the latest tablet in the company's Ellipsis line has officially been unveiled after months of being in the rumor mill. It was leaked by serial tipster Evan Blass last month, giving the public a peek to what Verizon Wireless has in store for its loyal customers.
The new Ellipsis 10 is a 10-inch tablet, which is a follow-up to the 7-inch and 8-inch Ellipsis tablets that were launched in 2013 and 2014 respectively. It is particularly designed and created by the carrier for those users who are looking for a device that can meet their needs.
"Whether you are a parent on the go, a gamer, a business power user or simply looking to upgrade to the latest tablet, the Ellipsis 10 has all the features you want in a tablet," wrote Verizon Wireless in their website.
The tablet sports a full HD display with 1920x1200 pixel resolution perfect for movies, photos and games. Android Geeks noted that under its hood is an unidentified quad-core processor but most likely a Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.5 GHz. The Ellipsis 10 is said to carry 1 GB of RAM with 16 GB of internal storage that can be further expanded through microSD card slot up to 32 GB. Android 5.1 is pre-installed and it supports 4G LTE connectivity.
The device is also equipped with a 2-megapixel front camera and 5-megapixel rear camera for capturing moments and memories. Giving it excellent audio experience is a smart amp sound technology and angular firing stereo speakers. An anti-fingerprint coating is also incorporated to prevent smudges. Design-wise, the tablet is enclosed in a beveled-edge design coupled with a soft-touch rear attachment for exquisite grip and look.
Ellipsis 10 is exclusively available in Verizon for $199.99 with a two-year contract or $299.99 upfront. Customers can also choose to have the installment plan which is zero down payment and $12.49 per month for two years.
