Verizon to Release 2 Quad HD Motorola Smartphones

Following suit to its major rivals in the smartphone business, Motorola is planning to release two flagship phones with Quad High-Definition or Quad HD display. These two phones will be released through an exclusive partnership with mobile carrier Verizon. It will be part of Verizon's Droid line up of phones.

The report is based on a Reddit post that claims that Motorola is not far behind other companies in terms of Quad HD phones. LG was the first to release such a phone, the LG G3, which had a stunning 2560 x 1440 Quad HD display. It pioneered high-resolution displays among smartphones, and was praised by reviewers and consumers alike. It did not disappoint this year, when its new flagship, the LG G4, will be coming out with the same high quality display.

Samsung and Google came out with their own Quad HD display phones and phablets this year also, which includes the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge.
