Victoria Jackson Thanks 'Christians for Not Showing Up' to Vote: 'You Disgust Me'

Former "Saturday Night Live" star Victoria Jackson has grieved the loss of the presidential election and blamed Christians for "not showing up" to vote for Mitt Romney. It's not the first time Jackson has let her religious and political beliefs be known to all.

"I can't stop crying. America died," Jackson initially tweeted after the election was called in favor of President Barack Obama. "The Democrat Party voted God out and replaced Him with Romans 1. In the Good vs Evil battle…today…Evil won."

But Jackson wasn't finished there. Her most accusatory tweet, however, came just a bit later: "Thanks a lot Christians, for not showing up. You disgust me."

On her website, Jackson went on to say, "The God Haters now outweigh the God Lovers. And, there are more Takers than Makers. Evil won the election. I think the red states should secede and create our own country called Original America. The rules of Original America [include] Everyone takes care of their own traditional family, and the church takes care of widows and orphans."

Also included among the "Original America" rules Jackson proposed is that "The Ten Commandments and Prayer are in our public school system and the Bible is a required course."

Jackson has taken to being an activist for The Tea Party and has written her own book entitled, "Is My Bow Too Big? How I Went From Saturday Night Live to the Tea Party." In it, she explains her radical transformation and the root of her beliefs, which include biblical literalism and a stringent political system.

"I'm a Dem and voted for BO [Barack Obama] and believe in God and thank God for his direction for this country," Joanne Frank posted on Victoria Jackson's Facebook page.

"You said Christians didn't vote. But I did vote. For Obama," added Jeff Dean.
