(VIDEO) Laugh and Pity This Cat Forced to Play Holiday Dress-Up
The holidays are not only the time when people wear well-crafted awful sweaters, place tacky lights around their house, and binge on food and drink.
They are also a special time of year in which pets bear a great seasonal burden of torment, oftentimes being forced to wear ridiculously bad outfits.
Such a trend is showcased in all its pitiful glory by the cat food company Temptations, which recently uploaded a video to YouTube focused on the horrid outfits cats are forced to wear.
Precious acts of animal cruelty include a Santa Clause outfit, a cap that has reindeer horns, and a sweater that matches the horrific sweaters worn by their human owners.
The expressions on each feline face say it all, with that classic look of disdain made that much greater by the blatantly awkward attire.
"Help them forgive and forget. Say sorry for the holidays with America's number 1 cat treat," stated Temptations in the video, plugging their treats.
Uploaded Nov. 9, as of Dec. 10 the video has gotten 346,000+ views, 2,400+ likes, and about 60 dislikes, presumably from those who actually think the cat costumes are not a good idea.
