"To be frank, we want you to play this beta to death. We need you to. This test is only going to make the game stronger, and help us take a look at ways we can ensure we deliver the most stable launch you deserve," Papoutsis said.

The beta version will provide a glimpse for the players of how the entire game will be like. Players can fight off criminals, run away from cops, explore new gadgets and find new allies to battle enemies in the "Battlefield" beta Hotwire mode.

In the said mode, there are two opposing teams. The criminal team must steal vehicles and race until the finish line. The cop team must prevent the other team from their exploits.

The second game mode is called Conquest wherein players compete to dominate on checkpoints. Their success will be represented by flags in the "Battlefield."

Other than new modes, there will be maps available as well, which are named as Dust Bowl and Downtown. Dust Bowl is located in the countryside complete with apartments, diner and several buildings for cover-up.

Downtown is true to its name since it takes place in the middle of a big city. Skyscrapers, parking garages and other city highlights will be the area for the "Battlefield" players.

The beta version will allow gamers to carry over their progression to the full game release of "Battlefield." Developers encouraged fans to make use of the beta and provide feedback in their forum to help with the smooth release of the full game.

There is no official news when the beta version will come out but it will surely be ahead of "Battlefield: Hardline's" full game release on March 17.
